After the convention, we made our way back to Patrick’s workplace and recorded a little closing-thoughts session. If you think that the audio quality is bad, you’re wrong. That is our homage to AM radio, and definitely not an attempt to lower the noise due to substandard equipment.
The Bros go to Kumoricon, Portland’s own anime convention. Except it’s too good for Oregon. Held in Vancouver for the last 2 years, this year was the 10th anniversary. We took the microphone with us and decided to record stuff.
Joining us for this special edition, our good friend Patrick came along to offer his masterful insight. Oftentimes, he also hijacked the direction of the interviews and conversation.

Jack questions Laven’s uncompromising taste, which devolves into a discussion about why they like the shows they like. Maybe Jack can some day be convinced that “good art” isn’t death for story.
Laven and Jack go over the Spring and Summer 2012 seasons. They discuss things they liked and disliked. Laven makes his anti-everything agenda apparent, while Jack is more willing to give things a chance.
